If I vape Delta 8 carts, will I get high?

The interest in Delta 8 carts has exploded recently, with brands rushing to capitalize in the latest green rush to hit the market.

The short answer is yes. In addition to being a fat-burning supplement, Delta 8 THC is psychoactive.

How much THC will I get?

This depends on how many Delta 8 cartridges you vape. The average smoker uses about 500 – 1000 mg of delta 8 in a session. Each cartridge contains approximately 70 mg of delta 8, so using a full printed cart gives you about three sessions. If you are going for the best results, we recommend smoking at least 1/4 of a cart per session. This way, your body will continue to feel the effects of the delta 8 carts throughout the day and not just when you smoke. You could use less than 1/4 of a full Delta 8 cartridge in one session, but we don’t recommend it.

Are there any side effects?

Delta 8 cartridges can produce psychological effects including paranoia and anxiety due to its high THC content. Smoking too much Delta 8 may also cause fatigue or drowsiness due to its high cannabinoid count and sedative properties. In addition to the psychoactive effects, smoking your own cartridges can bolster your immune system against illness and bacteria as well as protect against oxidative stress caused by everyday life events such as poor diet, pollution, lack of sleep, etc.. Smoking large amounts of delta 8 carts each day (over 3 cartridges) may result in diminished cognitive function over time known as cognitive impairment syndrome or CIS. If you have any concerns regarding how much delta 8 is safe for you to smoke please consult your medical professional before using our product on a regular basis.

My cartridge tastes burnt, what should I do?

This is a common issue that may be caused by several factors. If you have been using your cartridges for more than a day, the first thing to do is clean the atomizer at least once a day. It will help keep your cartridge tasting fresh. A dirty atomizer can also cause burnt tasting carts which is an indicator of over-use. Another factor causing burnt tastes is using CBD cartridges with insufficient CBD content. The CBD has no taste so you don’t notice it when there isn’t enough but if there is too much, it will overpower the flavor and may cause a burnt taste in your cart. It’s always best to use a high quality, high THC/CBD cartridge in addition to keeping the atomizer clean. Also make sure you are using your cartridges correctly and not plugging them into any device that doesn’t allow air flow. That will generally result in a burnt taste as well.

Why does my cartridge leak?

Not all cartridges are created equal. They shouldn’t leak unless they were produced incorrectly or they are damaged in some way during packaging and shipping. If you feel like your cartridge leaks, it could be due to several reasons including poorly fitted mouthpiece, damaged seals, or poorly tightened screws on the mouthpiece or cartridge itself which can cause leaking when used with certain devices that have airflow holes near the mouthpiece or if you are missing the retaining o-ring under the mouthpiece where it screws on to the cart itself (they are sometimes removed to prevent cross-contamination). This can also cause leaking when used with certain devices as well as improperly tightened screws on the mouthpiece which may be present from poor assembly on their end or if you overtighten them yourself without knowing it…be careful! In most cases, these problems will manifest after extended use over time which indicates that something isn’t sealed properly but if it happens immediately upon first use then you probably just received a dud that isn’t working correctly! Either way, if your cartridge starts leaking within 24 hours of receiving it please contact us so we can get you one replaced!
